Marta Tomasiak

Founder of the Studio & Landscape Architect

Marta Tomasiak is the founder of the studio. Her childhood in the fields and forests of Pomerania have deeply influenced her Landscape Practice: rooted in the context and always in search of the tangible realities that must be understood to bring a project to life. She obtained her Masters of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Copenhagen. Her professional and academic career brought her to seven countries over the last 15 years, where she has collaborated with renowned landscape and urban designers, as well as NGOs and associations.

In 2015, she decided to create her own studio in Warsaw to experiment and build her ideas around imperfect and primeval spaces, interaction with nature, grassroots initiatives and Third Landscape. Marta now resides in France, from where she is managing the Paris and Warsaw offices of Landscape Practice.

Paulina Kalska

Team Leader & Architect

Paulina Kalska joined the studio in 2025. For many years working within the domain of architecture, her approach is rooted in a deep respect for nature, balancing modern design with local traditions and careful material selection. She sees each project as part of a greater whole, where built space and landscape exist in harmony.

She graduated from Poznań University of Technology, VIA University College in Denmark, and the Southbank Institute of TAFE in Brisbane. Her international experience includes working at Alejandro Zaera-Polo Architecture in Barcelona and a competition-winning internship in Luanda. Before joining the studio, she collaborated with leading Warsaw firms and took part in numerous SARP competitions.

Marta Przygoda

Project Manager

Marta Przygoda joined the studio in 2021 and holds a double degree from the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology and from the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts.

She has an avid interest in the themes of urban life and how the city impacts those who inhabit it. Her design practice focuses on the human aspects, as well as the harmony of spaces and materials, in order to make the city a better place to live.

Lucyna Rydel

Junior Landscape Architect

Lucyna Rydel has been part of the Landscape Practice team since the summer of 2023, first as an intern and now as a junior landscape architect. She divides her time between the office and academic life, pursuing her studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences while gaining extensive international experience at the Agricultural University of Iceland and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

She enjoys the challenge of working with existing site conditions to develop solutions that enhance spaces and improve the lives of those who inhabit them. Passionate about sustainability, she views landscape architecture as a way to create a harmonious future where society and nature thrive together.

Emilia Piłat

Junior Landscape Architect

Emilia Piłat joined the studio in 2025. She is a second-degree student of landscape architecture at Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

In her design, she pays particular attention to shared spaces that foster social integration. She believes that a harmonious environment positively influences the human relationships and the daily comfort of residents. In her projects, she strives to bring out the character of local contexts, shaping the identity of the space.

Jadwiga Ryczek

Student Landscape Architect

Jadwiga Ryczek joined the practice in 2025. Graduated from landscape architecture at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, she is now doing her second degree in Urban Studies at the Warsaw University.

In her practice, she aims to design spaces that are functional, aesthetic, and accessible to everyone. She is interested in the topics of urban ecology, the Third Landscape, and the maximal use of the site’s potential with minimal interference in the natural environment.
