Forest Garden in Konstancin
The unique location of the plot in the southwestern part of the town of Konstancin, which has a resort-like character, surrounded by dense pine and mixed forest, defines the atmosphere of the designed garden.

The distinctive features of the plot – tall, vertical tree trunks, scattered light filtering through the tree canopies, and the varying topography – shape the individual garden rooms, each assigned a specific function. On the rectangular plot, with the building layout planned for its northern part, the garden is arranged as a surrounding green belt that frames the views from the interior’s glazing.

The land development around the house has been conceived as a continuation of the architectural layout
The individual garden rooms are shaped using linear hedges that reference the architectural layout of the building. The spatial elements in the garden frame and/or close off views, creating divisions into closer and more distant planes, shaping the frames as changing images throughout the seasons.
The functional zones of the design are shaped in relation to the architecture – on the southern side, a terrace and lawn are planned. Further from the house, in the naturally occurring depression of the land, a swimming pond is planned, while on the southern boundary of the plot, a productive garden is located.
